BIRDS
A Class about Birds and Birding
Fall 2007

This class is designed to help first-time beginners get started and long-time beginners get started again.

Oct 17 - Acquainting Yourself with the Possibilities
A look at bird diversity in North America, in Colorado, and in this area.

Oct 24  - Getting Better
Developing skills and tactics for finding birds on purpose and identifying them with certainty once you do.

Oct 31 - You and Your Bird Connection
Identifying what excites you about birds and learning how to nurture it as a passion…then follow it.

Nov 7 - Year Round Birding…For a Lifetime
Winter birding opportunities: when and where.

This class focuses on “how-to”: how to find birds, how to identify them once you do find them, and how to remember them once you do identify them. It is also skills-based, emphasizing how to develop good, productive skills and how to avoid developing bad, unproductive birding habits. Frequently encountered and easy-to-find local birds will be featured.
