Loveland Area

Eleven participants joined leader Nick Komar in a tour of nine lakes in the Loveland area, 8 am to 12:30 pm, Oct 28. Sites visited were (in order): Lake Loveland, Cattail Pond, Farm Pond on CR21 (south of Cattail Pond), Lone Tree Reservoir, Bodecker Reservoir, Buckingham Lake, Pond east of Cemetery, Horseshoe Lake and Boyd Lake. The most unusual bird of the day was an immature white phase Snow Goose eating grass with Canada Geese near the Lake Loveland Swim Beach. The species list follows:
