The RiverFest is in preliminary planning stages at this time.  Discussion was had by the FCAS Board about supporting and endorsing Lynne Hull's "Procession of the River Species" activity by encouraging FCAS members and families to become involved, and by helping with publicity efforts. Nick Komar raised the idea of holding a FCAS event, possibly in conjunction with the RiverFest, which would provide high visibility for both FCAS and the important natural resource of Poudre River. Nick also suggested obtaining copies of Audubon's Field Guide to the Rocky Mountain States to be presented to RiverFest participants/others.
