Training & Technical Assistance

Our Mission: To promote continuous quality improvements in early childhood programs.

Quality Improvement: Enhancing standards of excellence.

Participants: The T/TA Team is designed to serve either individuals providing direct care to children or an administrator of a child care program. Our goal is to provide services that result in a difference for children and the professionals providing care for them.

Technical assistance services may include:

• Assistance in development and implementation of quality improvement plans.
• Environment Rating Scale (ITERS-R, ECERS, FCCERS, SACERS) observations and follow-up consultations.
• Use of self assessment tools (i.e. rating scales, licensing project, accreditation).
• Assistance to sites who are using Ounce scales and DECA tools.
• Support and follow-up for sites choosing the Qualistar Rating System.
• Participation in the Expanding Quality Infant and Toddler training.
• Consultation around a variety or early childhood topics as requested.
• Assistance with early childhood resource and referrals.
