who we serve

Crossroads serves women, men, and children throughout Northern Colorado and beyond. In 2007 Crossroads Safehouse sheltered 313 women and children for a total of 6,246 nights. Our transitional housing program sheltered clients for an additional 6,736 nights. Nearly 1,000 men, women and children received individual and group advocacy and another 3,300 were reached through educational presentations.
Our clients come from myriad backgrounds, and each of their situations is as unique as each individual. With the help of the Safehouse staff, each client is empowered to go on to live an independent, violence-free life.
For many of the hundreds of adults and children who annually flee imminent danger to come to Crossroads, it is a life or death situation; however, while not all cases may be this severe or life-threatening, Crossroads encourages individuals experiencing all forms of abuse to seek help through our Outreach Center or toll-free line.
