8th Note

From the Artistic Director

Welcome to all our music loving friends for another exciting season of fine chamber music. Our 2008-2009 series offers a wide variety of works and ensembles: We welcome back the Boulder Brass, accompanied by Trinity Lutheran’s magnificent new organ; and, the Front Range Chamber Singers return for a special concert under the direction of the distinguished choral conductor Robert Molison. In addition, we present a rare nineteenth-century melodrama, with the poetry of Tennyson accompanied by the music of Richard Strauss; and, for our season finale, a performance of Stravinsky’s classic musical narrative The Soldier’s Tale.

Our concerts take place on Sundays (afternoons AND evenings) at Trinity Lutheran Church, 301 E. Stuart St. (corner of Mathews), Fort Collins, CO 80525.

Thank you! We hope to see you at our concerts, and at the meet-the-artists receptions following each one.
