FORT COLLINS - The Board of Directors of FortNet, The Fort Collins Community Computer Network, elected three new members on March 19, 1997. The new board members are:

* Cindy Gabriel, the owner of Gabriel Enterprises, Fort Collins. Cindy successfully organized 1997's First Night Celebration and has broad experience in management, entrepreneurship, and event planning.

* David Colliton, Director of Business Development at Stage Seven, Loveland. Dave brings wide business experience in communication, education, and marketing to the board. He recently completed an MBA at CSU.

* Jim Bernecker, is a Mortgage Loan Originator at Universal Lending Corporation. A native of Colorado, Jim has lived in Fort Collins since 1971. He was formerly with Factual Data in Fort Collins.

FortNet is a community non-profit organization which maintains a World Wide Web server that hosts community information on the Internet. FortNet offers educational opportunities, creates websites for community organizations and provides Internet-based services such as listservs, ServiceNet, e-mail forwarding and a community calendar of events.
