FORT COLLINS-- The Board of Directors of FortNet, The Community Information Network, recently elected two new board members.

Tom Chaffin is the Director of Business Services at the Front Range Community College, Larimer Campus. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from UNC and a MBA from Regis University. He has been involved with education since 1981. He joined the FortNet Board in April 1998.

Bob Viscount has been actively involved in FortNet since early retirement brought him to Colorado from New York last summer. Bob is a member of FortNet's HTML Team and served as Hands-On Lab Co-Chair for the 1998 Community Internet Festival. Bob was elected to the FortNet Board of Directors in February 1998.

FortNet is a non-profit organization working to inform and educate the Fort Collins community about the Internet. Since its inception in 1994, FortNet has served as the local leader in building Fort Collins' presence on the Internet and the community's understanding of Internet technologies. FortNet's services include a comprehensive community-information website, free monthly Internet classes, a free Community Access Center with computers linked to the Internet for public use, the annual Community Internet Festival that draws nearly 1000 participants and much more.
