FORT COLLINS - Internet novices can ease into the web world with FortNet’s free, monthly "Introduction to Web Browsers" class from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Thursday, August 20 at Front Range Internet’s Training Room on the second floor of 213 Linden Street. This new class location provides attendees with a hands-on experience, that is each participant will have a computer in front of them to try the techniques during class time.

Led by Jill Lenz, the popular class explores the ins and outs of Netscape Communicator, one of the more popular and universal web browsers. Lenz uses on-line demonstrations to gently introduce participants to the scope and services Netscape Communicator offers.

Seating is limited and reservations are required.

Since it’s inception in 1994, FortNet has served as the local leader in building Fort Collins’ presence on the Internet and the community’s understanding of Internet technologies. FortNet’s services include its comprehensive community information website (www.fortnet.org), monthly Internet classes, the annual Community Internet Festival that draws over 1,000 participants and much more.
