The Board of Directors of FortNet is pleased to announce the following changes made during the board meeting 12/10/98:
Dave Colliton, formerly on the board’s Executive Committee and Treasurer, was elected to the position of Executive Director (Dave@fortnet.org). He replaces Jill Lenz, who will be starting a new position with the CSU College of Veterinary Medicine January 4th (jill@fortnet.org). Dave has been actively involved with FortNet for two years. He has worked in Fort Collins as a consulting engineer and securities broker and is currently President of Forty Plus of Colorado.
Michael Mason was elected to the board for a two year term (lamott@fortnet.org). Michael is a Reference Librarian & Research Assistant to the Dean at CSU Libraries. He has lived in Colorado since 1993 and owns Pinch-Hitter Services, a data management service company.
Margaret Sturgill was re-elected to the board for a two year term following the expiration of her current three year term (sturgill@fortnet.org). Margaret recently left her position as a software engineer at Hewlett Packard to become Chief Operating Officer for Ataman Software, Inc. here in Fort Collins.

Since it’s inception in 1994, FortNet has served as the local leader in building Fort Collins’ presence on the Internet and the community’s understanding of Internet technologies. FortNet’s services include its comprehensive community information website (www.fortnet.org), monthly Internet classes, the annual Community Internet Festival that draws over 1,000 participants and much more.
