FORT COLLINS-- On December 10, at FortNet's Annual Meeting of the Board of Directors, the following officers were elected: Jim Bernecker-Chair of the Board, Dave Colliton-Treasurer and Thomas Ryan, Secretary.

Jim Bernecker, a native of Denver, became a Fort Collins resident in 1971 when attending CSU. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Industrual Construction Management from CSU. Jim has been involved in the real estate/mortgage industry since 1976 in Northern Colorado. He became involved in the Internet industry in 1994 and a FortNet Board Member in 1997.

Dave Colliton is a Management Consultant with Spectrum+ Consultants, Inc. of Fort Collins. He is also a licensed Personal Financial analyst with Perimerica Financial Services. Dave has also worked as a manufacturing engineer and a sales manager. He joined the FortNet Board in February 1997.

Thomas Ryan is a biomedical engineer working for Valleylab in Boulder. He has a MS from the University of Miami and held a faculty position at Dartmouth Medical School in New Hampshire before moving to Colorado in 1993. He has been using electronic mail and the Internet since about 1987 and remains excited about the dynamic online information spectrum available on the Internet and FortNet's efforts to enhance the surrounding community's connectivity and usage. He is beginning his second term as FortNet secretary and joined the board in the fall of 1996.
