  Our Mission Statement: The Friends of the Loveland Public Library Foundation, Inc. supports the Loveland Public Library's work as the information center of the community by advocating for the public support and use of the library, by generating current and long-term funding, and by developing volunteer involvements.

Activities include:

* Funding and sponsoring library programs and special events for people of all ages: Summer Reading Programs, Kevin Cook Nature Series, Traveling Story Teller in the Parks. 

* Purchasing furniture, materials and equipment, which are beyond the library's regular budget.

* Loveland Loves to Read, a one-book, one-community program.  

* Advocating with local government for improved library services and funding.

* Quarterly Program Meetings (New for 2008)

* Fund raising activities: Used book sales and SweetNight for the Library.
