Historic Fort Collins Development Corporation works with a broad range of partners to undertake strategic projects that preserve this area's historic resources as a rallying point for community pride, economic health, and improved quality of life. This means we:

· Identify threatened properties of historic significance in the Fort Collins area

· Facilitate or Administer rehabilitation and restoration projects

· Our Community Initiated Development Workshop focused citywide attention on the Northern Hotel which is now undergoing rehabilitation

· Working with the City Planners and property owners, we succeeded in saving the historic Preston Farm from demolition and are currently administering the rehabilitation project.

· Research and author articles on specific areas of preservation planning

· Agricultural Standards

· Preservation Easements

· Accept and Administer easements on historic properties

· Offer Educational Outreach opportunities

· Partnership with Colorado State University
