Proudly Serving the Community Since 1961.

MISSION STATEMENT:

To assist individuals in Loveland and Berthoud to become self-sustaining through emergency services.

DID YOU KNOW?

Help for today…hope for tomorrow is the essence of what the House of Neighborly Service has provided to low-income individuals and families in Southern Larimer County for 43 years!

The agency’s mission is to compassionately address and respond to the effects of poverty, while helping prevent further crisis and to empower those we serve to become more self-sustaining.

It’s a big job – but very worthwhile. We help our clients with the following:

  • Food Baskets
  • Prescriptions
  • Utility Assistance
  • Step-Up Housing
  • Clothing Bank
  • Special Medical
  • Emergency Shelter
  • Transportation
  • Special Programs (Birthdays, Back-to-School, Christmas, Easter, and other Holidays)
  • Miscellaneous Assistance
  • During 2004, our agency provided more than 27,000 services to people in need. We distributed 6,311 food baskets, provided clothing for 3,024 families, helped 544 individuals with their transportation needs, provided medical assistance or prescriptions for 1,617 individuals, distributed school supplies to 304 children, helped 434 households with utility costs, and provided shelter or step-up housing for 129 families or individuals, with a total number of 394 shelter days.
