The agency’s mission is to compassionately address and respond to the effects of poverty, while helping prevent further crisis and to empower those we serve to become more self-sustaining.
It’s a big job – but very worthwhile. We help our clients with the following:

Step-Up Housing
Clothing Bank
Special Medical
Emergency Shelter
Transportation
Special Programs (Birthdays, Back-to-School, Christmas, Easter, and other Holidays)
Miscellaneous Assistance
During 2004, our agency provided more than 27,000 services to people in need. We distributed 6,311 food baskets, provided clothing for 3,024 families, helped 544 individuals with their transportation needs, provided medical assistance or prescriptions for 1,617 individuals, distributed school supplies to 304 children, helped 434 households with utility costs, and provided shelter or step-up housing for 129 families or individuals, with a total number of 394 shelter days.
