The Elixir of Love

Join us as we bring a little Love (in a bottle) back to Loveland. For our 2009 season we proudly present The Elixir of Love, by Gaetano Donizetti. This comic love story revolves around Nemorino, a young man hopelessly in love with Adina. She doesn't have eyes for Nemorino, but is interested in the dashing Sergeant Belcore. And to complicate matters further, in comes Doctor Dulcamara, a traveling medicine man, with the answer to all of Nemorino's problems — the "Elixir of Love".

There are six fully-staged performances with orchestra — sung in English:

• February 27^th and 28^th, 2009 — 7:30pm
• March 1^st, 2009 — 2:30pm
• March 6^th and 7^th, 2009 — 7:30pm
• March 8^th, 2009 — 2:30pm
