These are honey bee swarms. Yours may be much smaller and may be on a building, a tree, a post, a wall or even on the ground. |
|
Honey bees build a nest of combs in a protected cavity. Usually the nest is in a hollow tree or in the walls or ceiling of a building. The entrance will normally be small. The following picture is an example. Notice the small opening into the building walls. |
