The Northern Colorado Weavers Guild, Inc. is a nonprofit group interested in sharing knowledge and skills in all aspects of the fiber arts. We were founded as an educational guild in 1973, and our membership includes many knitters, spinners and crocheters as well as weavers. Guests are welcome at each monthly meeting and are invited to meet the many fine fiber artists, aspiring artisans, and hobbyists who make up the membership of the Guild. Skill levels range from those newly interested in the fiber arts to professional artists and teachers. Membership dues are $25.00 per year for individuals or families. Dues are reduced to $12.50 for new members joining after January 1. A membership form is available here. Please join us this year at one of our meetings, held at Mount Olive Lutheran Church, 3411 South Taft in Loveland. The one-half day meetings start at 9:00 a.m. Members are also encouraged to join our Yahoo group to facilitate communication outside our meetings. To join, go to http://groups.yahoo.com/group/NCWG/. Fiber Celebration Fiber Celebration is our annual juried show. Plans are currently underway for soliciting entries for the 2010 show, to be held at the Tointon Gallery for the Visual Arts in Greeley.
