Colorado Basketmakers Guild

About the Guild: CBG attempts to keep meetings informal, yet informative, featuring basketry projects and techniques monthly, as well as a chance to network and share. A multi-day workshop is offered in September by a visiting basketry instructor. Founded in 1993.

Estes Park Area Weavers Guild
Geographic area: Estes Valley and northern Front Range towns

Concentration: All areas of fiber arts, with emphasis on weaving
About the Guild: EPAWG has been exchanging ideas and information about weaving and other fiber arts since 1973. All activities are to facilitate new learning, to participate in outreach events to interest young people in the fiber arts and to encourage fellowship among fiber artists.

Foothills Weavers Guild

About the Guild: FCWG began in 1978 and incorporated in 1979. The objectives of the Guild are to explore the lore and the techniques of handweaving and related textile crafts, and to stimulate interest in these by meeting and exchanging ideas. Conducting workshops and demonstrations, promoting sales and exhibitions, and providing educational activities to the public are all means by which this goal is served.

About the Guild: HGB was founded in 1964 to explore the lore of techniques of handweaving and related textile arts and crafts, and to stimulate interest in those media. Programs, workshops, outreach, equipment rental, and grants are offered, and a Fiber Art Show and Sale is conducted every year.

About the Guild: HGP was started in 1974 to share ideas and know-how, and to keep the art of weaving alive and well in Pueblo through participation in events such as the Colorado State Fair, Pueblo Pioneer Days, Founders Day, the Fall on the Farm Day at the Pueblo Zoo, and El Pueblo Museums Mercado. Workshops and a Handwoven Holiday sale are sponsored.
