About Us
The Northern Colorado Weavers Guild, Inc. is a nonprofit group interested in sharing knowledge and skills in all aspects of the fiber arts. The group was founded as an educational guild in 1973. The first meeting was held at a home in Fort Collins, with 27 people attending.
Today, the Guild has approximately 120 members. Meetings are held monthly, on the first Saturday from September through June, at Mount Olive Lutheran Church in Loveland.
Membership dues are $25.00 per year for individuals or families. Dues are reduced to $12.50 for new members joining after January 1. A membership form is available here.
Members are also encouraged to join our Yahoo group to facilitate communication outside our meetings. To join, go to http://groups.yahoo.com/group/NCWG/. You'll need to create a Yahoo ID, but you don't have to use Yahoo email to receive messages - you can easily have the messages forwarded to your regular email account.
Each year, we sponsor Fiber Celebration, an international juried fiber arts exhibit, typically held in a museum or gallery in the northern Colorado region.
