Schedule of Events

Saturday: 10:00 a.m. Ground Blessing   Sunday: 10:00 a.m. Gourd Dance
  11:00 a.m. Grand Entry     12:00 noon Grand Entry
  ~5:30 p.m. Dinner Break     ~7:00 p.m. Powwow Concludes
  7:00 p.m. Round Dance*        
  • Vendor setup will begin at 7:00 a.m. on Saturday.
    Arts and Crafts Vendors will be open for business: Saturday - 10:00 a.m.; and Sunday - 10:00 a.m.
  • The Native food concession will open at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Menu includes Indian Tacos, frybread, beef stew, and frito pie.
  • *Participation points will be taken at a random time during Saturday evening's Round Dance.
  • **For our non-powwow spectators: after each "Grand Entry" there will be intertribal and contest dancing.
  • No outside raffles, 50/50's, or any kind of fundraisers allowed.

  • PLEASE use the dancer/singer entrance on the NE side of the gymnasium.
  • Registration will open at ~9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
  • Point System will be used.
  • Contestants must be in both Grand Entries to be eligible for prize money.
  • Points will be taken on Saturday Night for all dancers.

  • Bring your own lawn chairs.
  • Admission fees pay for the building rental fee and the insurance. - please don't complain.
