Dear Artist / Vendor,

The Northern Colorado Intertribal Pow-wow Association is pleased to announce the 16th Annual Spring Contest Powwow and Indian Market to be held April 12-13, 2008. The Powwow and Indian Market will be held in the First National Bank Exhibition Hall, at “The Ranch” – Larimer County Fairgrounds. The fairgrounds are located directly off of I-25 and Crossroads Blvd., which is Exit 259, between Fort Collins and Loveland, Colorado (only about 40 minutes north of Denver!).

This beautiful facility offers us a tremendous amount of indoor space. The powwow is held in the East Hall, and the Indian Market is held in the West Hall. Entrance to the whole event is through the West Hall. 10' x 10' spaces at $125/space are available if your application is postmarked before March 28, 2008; and $175 thereafter. Prepayment will reserve a space, and our committee will determine where you will set up at the event. Vendor spaces on the day of the Powwow will be $175 and must be paid by cash or money order, so please get your applications in before March 28th.

The NCIPA Indian Market aims to recognize and promote our traditional Native American Artisans. This is not a juried event and no competition is held among the artists. Our goal is to provide a place for our Native American Artisans to sell their Native American-made items; however, all arts and crafts vendors are invited. Vendors selling Native American-made items should have proof of tribal membership available if requested.

Please review the Vendor Agreement carefully and complete/return the Application as soon as possible. It is important that you fill out the application in full, as we use this for communications with you. You will receive a postcard confirming receipt of your application. TWO (2) admission tickets will also be available for you on the day of the Powwow when you check in with me. (Please provide the name of your assistant on the application so we can provide a name badge.) If you need additional people to man your booth, they will be required to pay the normal admission fees of $4/day or $6/weekend.

Vendor setup will be from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. on Friday, April 11th; and will begin at 7:30 on Saturday, April 12th. If you can, we'd prefer that you set up most of your booth on Friday. Doors will be locked at 5:00 p.m.

We look forward to seeing you at our event! If you have any questions, please feel free to call me at (970) 224-2356.

Sincerely,

Deborah Wadena
