Dear Artist / Vendor,

The Northern Colorado Intertribal Pow-wow Association is pleased to announce the 20th Annual Spring Contest Powwow and Indian Market to be held April 20-22, 2012. The Powwow and Indian Art Market will be held in Moby Arena on the beautiful Colorado State University Main Campus, near the Shields and West Elizabeth intersection. (See directions at bottom of this letter.)

This beautiful facility offers us a tremendous amount of indoor space. 10' x 10' spaces at $100/space (upper level) or $150/space (arena floor) are available if your application is postmarked before April 1, 2012; add a $50 late fee thereafter. Tables ($10) and chairs ($2) are available for rent as well.

Prepayment will reserve a space, and our committee will determine where you will set up at the event. Vendor spaces on the day of the Powwow will either be $150 or $200 depending on where you are set up. This must be paid by cash or money order, so please get your applications in before April 1st.

Vendor setup will begin at noon on Friday afternoon. There will be an evening session beginning at 5:00 p.m. so plan your time accordingly. Saturday morning setup begins at 8:00 a.m.

The NCIPA Indian Market aims to recognize and promote our traditional Native American Artisans. This is not a juried event and no competition is held among the artists. Our goal is to provide a place for our Native American Artisans to sell their Native American-made items; however, all arts and crafts vendors are invited. Vendors selling Native American-made items should have proof of tribal membership available if requested.

Please review the Vendor Agreement carefully and complete/return the Application as soon as possible. It is important that you fill out the application in full, as we use this for communications with you. You will receive a postcard confirming receipt of your application. TWO (2) admission tickets will also be available for you on the day of the Powwow when you check in with me. (Please provide the name of your assistant on the application so we can provide a name badge.) If you need additional people to man your booth, they will be required to pay the normal admission fees of $5/day or $8/weekend.

We look forward to seeing you at our event! If you have any questions, please email us at ncipa@fortnet.org or call (970) 493-6470 (collect calls not accepted).

Sincerely,

Meg, Vendor Coordinator
