For all wind, brass, and percussion instruments, please
prepare the following material:
1) Two scales, one Major and one minor.
Prepare 2 or 3 octaves.
2) 1 – 2 minutes of a standard solo work; no piano accompaniment.
3) Choose and prepare excerpts (click on the links at left to
download
a
Word document with the required excerpts for your instrument,
along
with
links
to free sheet music of all excerpts) as listed for your instrument.
4) Sight-reading may be required.
5) Auditions are closed to the public, including parents and families.
Please note that when selecting the audition material to prepare, the applicant
should choose according to what best demonstrates his/her technical and musical
abilities.
