The Women's Choral Group of Fort Collins is a non-profit,
all-volunteer women's chorus with a present membership of about 45. The group meets to
practice weekly from Labor Day to Memorial Day on Tuesdays at 9:00 a.m. The chorus performs
two large concerts every year, one at Christmas time and one in the Spring. Other performances
are by invitation. There is no charge for concerts/performances but donations, which are
used to purchase music, will not be refused. Music sung includes classics, spirituals, show tunes,
and any other quality music which lends itself to four-part harmony for women's voices.
Membership:
New members are welcome, usually in the Fall but inquiries may be made at any time.
Dues are $100 per year. Members wear long black skirts and colorful long-sleeve blouses to
perform. A voice placement interview is required as is attendance once admitted.
Performances:
Invitations to perform are invited. All invitations must be accepted by the group as a
whole. We prefer to sing for groups larger than the chorus.
