Citizen Planners Adopts Poudre Trail Section

Recently, Citizen Planners formalized their trail adoption by hitting the path in search of refuse. Bill Zawaki (sp), board member and local landscape contractor, initiated the adoption and it was formalized by the addition of a new sign on the trail just east of the Lemay overpass. On the first glorious fall day available to members of Citizen Planners, a team of set off to tidy up the popular trail. Brigitte Schmidt, president of Citizen Planners stated with a large smile, “The  Poudre trail is such a wonderful asset to the community, I feel  we should make it shine as best we can.” David Wright, executive director, noted that monthly get-togethers to patrol the trail should a wonderful excuse to take in the out-of-doors right here in town.
