She achieved a Girl Scout Gold Award in for her multimedia
presentation the purpose of assistance dogs, how they are trained, and how the
public should react to them. Canines for Disabled Kids is an off-shoot NEADS,
the assistance dog school where Munroe was trained. The goal of CDK is to
provide assistance dogs for children under age 12.
