Who We Are:
Our
mission is to help our members develop personal and leadership skills
through community service. We are a volunteer organization made up of
men and women ages 18 to 40 from all walks of life.
As part of a national organization founded in 1920, the Jaycees have
helped develop thousands of community, business and government leaders,
including Kofi Annan, Howard Hughes, Warren Burger, Jacques Chirac,
Larry Holmes, Gerald Ford and Bill Clinton.
The Fort Collins Jaycees, founded in 1938, are a member of the United States Junior Chamber and the Junior Chamber International.
Our
programs and projects focus on three areas of activity: Community
Development, Management Development and Individual Development. These
areas comprise what is called the total Jaycees concept. Equal emphasis
is placed upon all three areas; Service to the community, Development of
management skills and Personal growth.

The Jaycees Creed
We Believe ...
That faith in God gives meaning and purpose to human life;
That the brotherhood of man transcends the sovereignty of nations;
That economic justice can best be won by free men through free enterprise;
That government should be of laws rather than of man;
That earth’s great treasure lies in human personality;
And that service to humanity is the best work of life!
