Jaycees have $2,000 in grants available to youth programs and organizations in
Larimer
County
. The funds are available through the Thomas J. McComb – Fort Collins Jaycees
Youth Fund. Deadline to submit applications is July 31, 2007.
To
be eligible for a grant, the applicant:
1) must be an organization or
program that benefits youths (not an individual youth)
2) must be in Larimer County
3) must have a budget showing
how organization/program is funded (income, expenses, current sources of
income).
Grant applications are
available on the Fort Collins Jaycees website, www.fortnet.org/jaycees
and should be submitted via e-mail to jaycees@fortnet.org or mailed to Fort
Collins Jaycees, Attn. Youth Fund, PO Box 271361, Fort Collins, CO 80527. Direct

The Ft. Collins Jaycees Youth Fund, managed by the Fort
Collins Community Foundation, was established in 1994 to provide financial
support for youth programs in
Larimer
County
. In 2000, the fund was renamed the Thomas J. McComb – Ft.
Collins Jaycees Youth Fund in honor of Thomas J. McComb, a chapter president who
passed away.
The Jaycees have awarded grants to local organizations such as: CASA,
Divorce Transitions, Girl Scouts, Pediatric Communication Therapy Services,
Larico Gardening Angels, Fort Collins Youth Baseball Program,
Larimer
County
Child
Advocacy
Center
, Lutheran Family Services,
New
Bridges
, Turning Point, Boys
and Girls Club of
Larimer
County
.
