Quartets and
small ensembles available for hire during the winter holiday season
The
Dickens Carolers consist of sixteen outstanding vocalists, auditioned
from within the ranks of the Larimer Chorale symphonic chorus, who will
also perform as quartets for smaller, more intimate functions.
The Carolers will be available for various community
celebrations and functions as well as
private parties throughout the holiday season.
The Carolers' performance repertoire includes many of the wonderful
songs and tunes that American audiences so closely associate with the
holiday season, including:
"The First Noel" "Here
We Come A-Caroling"
"Silent Night"
"We Wish You
a Merry Christmas" many more
Musical preparation for the ensemble is being handled by Larimer
Chorale Assistant Conductor Jean Johnson, newly appointed director of
vocal music at Preston Middle School.
Authentic 19th century costumes will be re-created from
vintage patterns by master seamstress Marian Railsback.
“The
Dickens Carolers of the Larimer Chorale will fill a wonderful
performance niche in northern Colorado. Nothing helps us remember the
true spirit and joy of the holidays like costumed singers performing
traditional songs that are near and dear to our hearts.” ~ Larimer
Chorale Artistic Director Michael Todd Krueger.
