What is the Larimer County Alliance for Grandfamilies?

Description and Goal Statement
» The Larimer County Alliance for Grandfamilies (LCAG) is a coalition of
grandparents, relative caregivers, professionals and other community
members. Our mission is to work collaboratively to support the health and well-being of grandfamilies
through community education, development of support systems, and advocacy for
change. Through this coalition we offer resources on support groups, community awareness,
navigation of systems support, respite care and education programs.

» Families and community service workers in this group look at current national and state policies affecting our families. We will use this information to see how we can “tap into” resources on a State and Federal level.
