Subject: Status of the Council - 2002 Leadership Crisis

The Larimer County Safety Council which was founded in 1971 has made many contributions to the community, such as, providing an 10 hour OSHA course, partnering with the Larimer County Sheriff’s office to provide Kid Care Identification Cards, presentation of numerous interesting topics at monthly meetings, and networking.

Sadly, this year all of the officers’ terms are expiring again with no nominees or volunteers to replace them for the 2002 terms. Since the Bylaws require officers, the Executive Board hereby announces that the Council will be dissolved at the end of this membership year.

Per the Bylaws, all funds will be donated to another organization with a similar mission.
