Beginner Lessons will be held again in the late summer/early fall of 2010. Please check back.
Our Beginner Lessons for September 2009 were:
$40 for 4 one and a quarter hour lessons
No prior “synchro” experience necessary. Swimmers should be
· between ages 7 (on birthday this calendar year) and 17
· comfortable in deep water and submerging
· able to swim across the pool.
September Session:
Sunday September 6 & 13, 4:00 - 5:15 p.m. at TVHS (If you cannot come Sep. 6 due to the holiday, you can come to a lesson the previous week - please ask)
AND your choice of Tuesdays or Wednesdays 6:15 - 7:30 p.m:
Tuesdays September 8 & 15 at EPIC
or Wednesdays September 9 & 16 at MVAC
To register:
· Print and fill out the Beginner Lesson Registration Form.
· Send the form with your check for $40 to: NC Synchro LLC, 1449 Freedom Lane, Fort Collins, CO 80526 or bring all to the first lesson.
Instructor to student ratio will be 1:6 or better. Instructors are experienced synchronized swimming coaches. Experienced synchronized swimmers will be in the water with the class to demonstrate and assist the instructors.
For each lesson, meet us on deck at the diving well.
Checks will be held and returned if you decide not to continue after the first class.
Swimmers should bring to each lesson:
· One piece suit if you have one, otherwise two piece is fine.
· Hair should be well secured off of face, or wear a cap. You may purchase a cap from the instructor for $1.
· Goggles if you like to wear them.
· And a towel, of course!
· Nose clips can be borrowed from the instructor, or you may purchase your own for from us for $2.
