Treasurer's Report from Beth
Dailey.
The current balance was
reported to be $6,487.89.
The Pack's insurance is paid
for this year.
Beth Dailey resigned as
Treasurer.
FortNet Donation Request:
Kay Lannen reported for Tim
Johnson that the Pack should stay with FortNet for our Website. The committee
wanted to compliment Tim on an "Awesome Job" in updating the Website!
The committee voted to give
FortNet a $100 donation for using the website.
Blue & Gold Celebration:
Judi Urlocker reported on
all the details of the celebration. It will be held at Werner on February 20 at
7pm. The theme for the Celebration is "Fiesta" and dessert will be provided.
Each den will compete in a
centerpiece/piņata contest with the theme being "fiesta". The
centerpieces/piņata will be judged by visiting boy scouts. The judging begins at
6:50 pm so all centerpieces/piņatas need to be in place by
6:45 pm.
A $25 gift check will be
given to the winning Den.
The guest judges will
receive a box of popcorn in appreciation for their help.
Pinewood Derby:
The Derby will be on March
27, 2004 at "The Square". (Weigh-in is March 26). The Awards Subcommittee
members are Scott Ochwat, Jeff Wood, Steve Tucker, Judi Urlocker, Kay Lannen,
Sara Hart, & Chris Kay. If anyone else wants to join just ask. The committee is
meeting again before the derby.
Jennifer Ochwat mention that
she has more derby kits available. Scouts get theirs free.
Awards:
Awards forms are due at the
March committee meeting.
All Den Leaders are required
to turn in Service Request forms to Jennifer Ochwat at the March committee
meeting. This can be done on any piece of paper. The report needs to state how
many years each scout in your den has been in scouting.
FOS:
Jeff Wood reported that we
made Camp target for FOS (friends of scouting), but not Patch.
Scouting for Food:
Scouting for food is
February 28, 2004. Beth Jackson is the chairperson.
The committee decided to put
the flyers on the mailboxes this year to notify the neighbors of the food drive.
Beth Jackson and Chuck Pinela (from Troop 97) have the area maps. They will
coordinate the areas where the scouts are going to go ask for food.
