During the Tiger Cub, Wolf, and Bear years, parents are the primary Akela for their scouts. Akela means "leader" or "teacher"
depending on the circumstance. As such, parents should be working with their boys to have fun, learn new skills, and earn
advancement requirements. On this page, you will find the place to report these accomplishments to your Den Leader to ensure
your son receives the proper acknowledgement.
The Webelos years are designed to help the scouts transition to the Boy Scout program. During these two years, the Den Leader
is the primary Akela. The Den Leader will be asking parents to help do specific items for advancement. This page can be used
to report back to the Den Leader your son's success with those items.
