Tiger Cub Year

During the Tiger Cub year, parents are the primary Akela for their scouts. Akela means "leader" or "teacher" depending on the circumstance. As such, parents should be working with their boys to have fun, learn new skills, and earn advancement requirements. On this page, you will find instructions below on how to report these accomplishments to your Den Leader to ensure your son receives the proper acknowledgment.

At the weekly Den Meeting, the Den Leader will also be assigning "Home Assignments" which are part of the advancement program which need to be completed by the parent or family.

Wolf and Bear Years
