Cub Scout Pack 91 is a unit in the Cache La Poudre District of the Longs Peak Council of the Boy Scouts of America.

The Bennett Community Organization of Bennett World IB School, located in Fort Collins, Colorado charters Cub Scout Pack 91.

Joining Pack 91

Pack 91 recognizes that boys and families are busy. That's why we design the program in an "a la carte" fashion. The pack meetings provide a large monthly base for both the boys and families to participate. The dens provide more intimate, multiple, monthly meetings in age related groups. Activities are optional periodic events from which boys and families may choose from. In this way, each boy and family may design their scouting experience to meet a busy schedule and tight family budget.

Cost

Pack 91 charges an annual fee of $50.00. This provides the scout with his current handbook, neckerchief, tie slide, BSA membership, and Boys Life subscription through the end of December of the current program year. So a boy joining in September receives BSA membership and Boys Life magazine through December of the following year.

Each scout is assigned to a den based on his age and grade in school. Monthly meetings are selected based on the advancement program and the availability of the scouts. Costs for these meetings are shared by the families in the den.

After that, a family chooses the activities which fit their schedule and budget. The pack plans the schedule to include as many options as possible. Costs are handled on an event by event basis.

Uniforms

Uniforms are one of the methods of Cub Scouting. They provide a more consistent level of appearance for the group. They also provide for a manner for boys to display their advancment awards to build self esteem. Boys have a tendency to behave better when in uniforms. Uniforms also tell the public that this group of boys is motivated in good pursuits.

Yet, uniforms are still considered optional in Pack 91. The field uniform, sometimes incorrectly called a "class A," is the blue shirt and insignia. The activity uniform, sometimes incorrectly called "class B," is a pack t-shirt. Uniform pants and shorts, socks, belts, and hats can round out the complete look.
