Playing in small groups:

Several recorder players have formed small groups exploring a wide variety of the recorder repertoire.

Colorado Recorder Orchestra:

O_t_P Recorder OrchestraThis recorder orchestra, under the direction of Rose Marie Terada, has about 25 members and performs at least twice per year.  In late fall of 2006 the orchestra toured Japan for two weeks.

In June 2008 the Colorado Recorder Orchestra played in Denver, Boulder and in Fort Collins.

The program included works by Marenzio, three dances by Holborne, and two by Byrd; two two-choir pieces by Picchi and Viadana; the Fairy Queen Suite by Purcell, and the Concerto Grosso # 6 by Handel.  The concert ended with a contemporary piece by Hilling ‘Celebration Rag’.
