This Saturday, May 3 Fort Collins Youth Rugby Boys will be playing Holy Family Tigers in the first round of the Colorado State Rugby Qualifier. In the second match of the day they will play either Colorado Springs or Glendale at either 3 or 4:00 p.m. All matches for the Qualifier are being held at Dick's Sporting Goods Park in Denver.

The Fort Collins Youth Rugby Boys program has been around since 1984 and has won 4 State Championships in 1986, 1994, 1995 and 1996. In the National High School Rugby Tournament they have finished fifth in 1994, fourth in 1995, and sixth in 1996.
The Fort Collins Youth Rugby Girls program started in 2000 and has won the Colorado State Championship 6 times in 9 seasons (2000, 2001, 2004, 2005, 2006, and 2007) and the National Championship in 2000 and 2001. Overall in seven seasons the girls are 97-14-2.
