Soroptimist International Fort Collins Club is a member of a worldwide volunteer service organization for business and professional women who volunteer to improve the lives of women and girls, in local communities and throughout the world. About 95,000 Soroptimist members in more than 120 countries and territories volunteer to contribute time and financial support to community-based projects benefiting women and girls. We are Best for Women. Any woman, actively engaged in a professional management position—or in an occupation with comparable status or comparable responsibilities (in the private or public sector) is eligible to volunteer for membership. Soroptimist International of the Americas, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, is headquartered in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It’s major project is the Soroptimist Women’s Opportunity Award—cash grants for women seeking to improve their economic situations through additional education and training. |
