Living Her Dream Award

Fort Collins Soroptimist’ Living Her Dream Award was established in response to the Live Your Dream Campaign started by Soroptimist International of the Americans (SIA) Federation on March 8, 2006, International Women’s Day.

The SIA campaign showcases challenges women and girls continue to face and the ways in which Soroptimist clubs can work to improve social and economic conditions for women and girls throughout the world.

 

This award (funded by the Mabel Boland Fund) can be used to assist recipients with costs for transportation,  tuition, textbooks, class supplies, or living expenses.

 

To apply, women need only:

· Be age 21 (or greater) at time of application

· Have earned a high school diploma or G.E.D.

· Be presently enrolled in a community college, college or university

· Have completed a minimum of two semesters of education beyond high school

· Be a good student, with above-average grades
