Community Multi-faith Celebrations
A Call to Share Sacred Seasons
We invite your participation in the first of several multi-faith
celebrations which will be offered throughout the coming year,
so that we can pray alongside each other, work together for
peace, justice, human rights, and for the healing of our wounded
hearts and the earth.
An Autumn Spiritual Gathering: A Community
Multi-faith Celebration,
Tuesday, September 12th, 2006, 7:30pm.
Lincoln Center Canyon West Room
The evening's program will feature speakers from each of the
faith traditions represented who will discuss the deeper meanings
of their respective faith traditions and offer insight into
our common longing for reconciliation and good will. World music
characteristic of each tradition will also highlight the service.
In the months that follow, when faith communities celebrate
their special occasions, people are invited to participate during
a scheduled SOJOURN, to experience and learn about each others'
seasonal/religious/spiritual observances and practices. Passports
for Participation in these SOJOURNS can be printed out from
our website: http://www.fortnet.org/sojourn, and will be handed
out at the Celebration and other interfaith events.
