  How to find us

Fort Collins is 65 miles North of Denver on Interstate 25. Exit I-25 at Colorado 14, then drive West through town to City Park. You"ll find our depot next to the tennis courts at Roosevelt St. and Oak St. Here's a map.

Colorado State University offers many summer conferences and study programs. Nearby Horsetooth Reservoir offers boating and recreation. Fishing, hiking, golf, swimming and other leisure activities are available for the entire family. Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park are 30 miles West of nearby Loveland.

  Operating hours and boarding locations

Join us for a ride on Car 21 on Saturday and Sunday afternoons and holidays from May through September. We operate each day from noon through 5 PM. Each 3-mile round trip between City Park and Howes Street (downtown) takes about 1/2 hour. Boarding locations on the restored line are:

  • City Park (next to the tennis courts)
  • Shields St. & Mountain Ave.
  • Loomis St. & Mountain Ave.
  • Howes St. & Mountain Ave. (downtown)

  Fares

Fares for the 1/2-hour round trip are:

  • Adults: $1
  • Seniors: 75¢
  • Children 2 through 12: 50¢
  • Children under 2: free

We offer free rides for moms on Mother's Day, dads on Father's Day and special days when we are sponsored by local businesses. Watch for announcments on our welcome page.
